Report: Bills signing Logan Thomas off Lions practice squad

  • Laughing at Bills fans giving a thumbs down on Clay being disappointing.
  • iammrbinky says: Nov 29, 2016 4:28 PM
  • Logan Thomas’ stay on the Lions’ practice squad turned out to be a brief one, but it wasn’t because the Lions lost interest in transitioning the quarterback to tight end after one day.
  • Peter Schrager of FOX Sports reports that the Bills are signing Thomas off of Detroit’s practice squad because they also see him as a potential tight end.
  • Charles Clay has been nothing short of a highly overpaid disappointment at TE. He counts 19.5 mil against the cap this year and 13.5 mil next.

  • Via Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com, Giants General Manager Jerry Reese said he was ” not going to talk about Josh Brown .”
  • They are always on the field keep opponents from scoring.

  • Spend another 100 million on your defense next year also Jerry.

Considering the problems certain Giants officials — namely the owner — have created for themselves by talking about the Josh Brown case, perhaps silence is understandable. But it falls well short of accountable. Via Jordan Raanan of ESPN.

Early-season ratings decline continues for NFL

  • liberalsruineverything says: Sep 17, 2016 10:35 PM The liberals ruin everything pure and good Liberals don’t run or ruin anything, silly.
  • As noted by Chris LaPlaca of ESPN, Monday night’s Steelers-Washington game had an average of 307,000 streams and the Rams-49ers game had 309,000 – even though ESPN (unlike Twitter) wasn’t streaming its games on phones .
  • I’ve got only one eye on the game while I do laundry, cook supper or do housework.
  • I do watch my team when they play, but I don’t give the TV my full attention.
  • I stopped going to the games because of the price of tickets, parking, food, etc.

The statement from the NFL regarding the audience that watched the first Thursday Night Football game of the season creates the impression the glass is more than half full. The reality is that, however full the glass may be, it has sprung a leak.

Few teams have ever spent as aggressively as the Giants did this offseason. But few General Managers were on as clearly established a hot seat as Giants General Manager Jerry Reese, so at least it’s understandable.

Report: Joey Bosa not at minicamp because he hasn’t signed

  • When just about every other team has signed their entire draft class and one team is still hagling with its top 3 pick, that team is doing something wrong.
  • pamperpro says: Jun 14, 2016 12:45 PM
  • Unless a deferred signing bonus includes interest, the team is literally trying to pay him under slot.
  • Too cheap to pay a signing bonus, too cheap to build a new stadium.
  • Bosa thereby can double-dip and be paid full salaries from the Chargers and any new team with whom he signs.

@ProFootballTalk: “Report: Joey Bosa not at minicamp because he hasn’t signed”

Chargers rookie defensive end Joey Bosa said recently that he “didn’t win one rep” at his first OTA practice with the team and it looks like the first-round pick won’t be winning any reps at the team’s first minicamp practice either.
