On the following possession, a high snap on a punt attempt resulted in a scoop and score by Chamberlain linebacker Donte Taylor to put the Chiefs up 21-0 before their first offensive possession.

Key drives: After a turnover on downs, Chamberlain quarterback Tyler Riddell connected with Demetrius West on a 7-yard touchdown. Josue Mondragon added a 30-yard field goal as the Chiefs took a 30-0 lead into halftime.

Stars of the game: Riddell would add two more touchdowns, connecting with Antonio Hendry (13 yards) and Javon Williams (17 yards). On defense, Taylor, Antonio Hendry, Johnny Walker and Hakeem Ricketts added sacks and Ricketts had a fumble recovery. For Spoto, Derrick Curtis finished with 73 all-purpose yards while Kobie Smith rushed for 62 yards on seven carries.
